Fire induces labor

The stress of evacuation was not centered on humans alone but pets felt the intensity of the situation as well. Rosie, a pregnant Chihuahua, had been in her cage during several days of being evacuated from her La Crescenta home. She went into labor while visiting the Red Cross Shelter at Crescenta Valley High School.
