The Campbell Center Bike Race For A Cause…

The Campbell Center announced that back by popular demand is the second annual stationary bike race fundraiser scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 25 at Hoover High School in Glendale. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m.

Open to bike enthusiasts of all levels, be they beginners or more seasoned, those who include sports and fitness in their lifestyle, and those who took a New Year resolution to start doing so, the event is sure to generate as much excitement as the inaugural event earlier this year. Amid a spirit of friendly competition, great music provided by a live DJ, high energy and all around fun, the event will also raise much-needed funds for The Campbell Center programs and services.

“We were so gratified by the response and participation we received at our first event. So, naturally, we’re bringing it back for those who missed their chance to be part of it the first time around,” said Jodi Deranja, event chair and member of The Campbell Center Foundation board of directors. “Our teams could not wait to sign up again and are already starting to prepare to take home the first place trophy at the upcoming event.”

Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Teams are composed of eight riders each, and each rider will ride 20 minutes and commit to raise or donate a minimum of $200 to qualify for participation. To ensure that each team member succeeds in her/his fundraising, each team will be led by a team captain whose role is to motivate, guide, inform and, in general, be a cheer leader for their respective Teams.

Event sponsorships are also available at various levels with each level offering attractive marketing opportunities.
