James Murphy of La Cañada, a freshman secondary education/social studies major at York College of Pennsylvania, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2017 semester.

To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Located in south central Pennsylvania, York College offers more than 50 baccalaureate majors in professional programs, the sciences and humanities to its 4,600 undergraduate students. The College also offers master’s programs in business, education and nursing, and a doctorate in nursing practice.

Stephanie Beck, Class of 2018, from La Cañada Flintridge was named to the dean’s list at Bucknell University during the fall semester of the 2017-18 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean’s list recognition.

Located in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, Bucknell University is a highly selective private liberal arts university that offers majors in the arts, engineering, humanities, management, and social and natural sciences, along with broad opportunities outside of class, to its 3,600 undergraduates. Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri announced the dean’s list for the fall 2017 semester. This honor recognizes students who have achieved a grade-point average of 3.5 or above.

Courteney Campbell of Glendale earned a place on the list.
