The Los Angeles County Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station announced that it will be receiving a donation from the Crescenta Valley Armenian Community & Youth Center.
The Crescenta Valley Armenian Community & Youth Center has expressed its deep appreciation to the Sheriff’s Department for their continued dedication and commitment to public service and keeping the community safe. In an effort to demonstrate their gratitude, they have committed to donating $1,000 to the CV Sheriff’s Station.
“We’re delighted that the Armenian community has frequently joined forces with local law enforcement and fire departments to support various community causes and programs. This contribution is just a humble ‘Thank You’ to our Los Angeles County Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station,” said Arick Gevorkian, the chairman of the Crescenta Valley Armenian Community & Youth Center.
The donation comes at a time when county services have been subject to budget cuts and an ongoing economic crisis.
“Members of our station are extremely thankful to the Armenian community for their generosity, and we look to collaborating together in the future to ensure the safety of all members of the community,” said Capt. Dave Silversparre.
