Glendale Arts & Culture Commissioner and artist Ara Oshagan was among the 2015 honorees of Foreign Policy magazine’s 100 Leading Global Thinkers. Oshagan, along with artist Levon Parian and architect Vahagn Thomasian, were selected for “preserving the history of a Genocide” in their work, iwitness, a public art installation at The Music Center Plaza and Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles (April/May 2015).
