In the deepest, most remote area of Death Valley National Park lies Tea Kettle Junction. No one seems to recall how it got its name but legend has it that if you take a tea kettle and leave one in its place it will bring you good luck. That’s exactly what these boys from Troop 319 did – they left behind their Troop 319 Tea Kettle. Inside was placed a Troop 319 T-shirt, an American flag, a Brett B. Tyler memorial card and (of course) a copy of the CV Weekly.
