Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich, representing the 5th District, will be the keynote speaker at the 2012 Kick-Off meeting of the La Cañada Flintridge Republican Club on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club.

There is a no host bar and socializing begins at 6:30 p.m. Dinner and the address by Supervisor Antonovich follows at 7 p.m. The supervisor will address the challenges faced by residents of Los Angles County, California and America and offer solutions for problems facing the country.

Supervisor Antonovich has served for 32 years as a county supervisor and has been characterized by his commitment to public safety, effective and responsible representation and support for small business and his attention to the county’s foster children and seniors and veterans.

In addition to his duties as supervisor and county mayor, he sits on the boards of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the South Coast Air Quality Management District, and Metrolink. His appearance will be the third time he has met for dinner with members of the fast growing local Republican Club.

The meeting is a dinner meeting and by reservation only. The cost of the dinner is $25 payable in advance or at the door. The club accepts VISA, MasterCard and American Express.
