The Y Announces Staff Changes

The YMCA of the Foothills association (Crescenta-Cañada & Verdugo Hills Family YMCAs) has made a few notable staff changes and additions.

Janet Toma recently joined the YMCA of the Foothills as the director of Human Resources. Toma is a member of the foothills community and most recently held the position of director, Human Resources at Technicolor Creative Services in Burbank.

Kim Beattie, director of Financial Development, is shifting her focus to the fundraising efforts of the Y after years of leading the communications department. She has been with the Y since the 1990s and been a full-time staff member for the last four years. Beattie oversees the associations fund development.

Craig Strazzeri is the new associate director of Communications/Marketing and will oversee the association’s communications and messaging efforts. Strazzeri has been working in the communications department at the Y for the past year and a half.

Jackie Shaumyan is the new director of Membership at the Crescenta-Cañada Family YMCA after working as the membership coordinator for the past three years.  Shaumyan has been with the Y for over eight years.

Brandon Wood is the new director of Facilities at the Crescenta-Cañada Family YMCA following his work as the supervising manager on duty. Jeff Dapper is the association director of Facilities and in charge of risk management.
