Stanford recognizes FSHA religion teacher
Olympio D’Mello, a religion teacher at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, was recently recognized by Stanford University for his exceptional teaching. He was nominated for the award by FSHA graduate Nicole DeMont, the valedictorian for the class of 2009 who is now a freshman at Stanford.
“Mr. D’Mello not only cares about how you’re doing in school, but also about your friends and family. He truly believes that you can succeed in anything,” wrote DeMont in her nomination.
