Annette Bethers is the new and highly regarded director of historic McGroarty Arts

Center, 7570 McGroarty Terrace in Tujunga. She will be giving an audio/visual presentation on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 11:30 a.m. at the performance stage of the La Crescenta Woman’s Club. The presentation is open to the public, free of charge and underwritten by the Woman’s Club, 4004 La Crescenta Ave. in La Crescenta.

“I will be giving an overview of the history of the John Steven McGroarty home and highlighting the many ways the home is now being used to serve the community through affordable arts education, community events and historical preservation,” said Bethers. 

McGroarty’s storied arts & crafts programs and education are many and varied, lectured and taught by numerous experts in their fields.
