CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center leadership and employees, as well as the construction team, will sign the final structural piece of steel for the hospital’s new inpatient tower before it is hoisted into place adorned with the American flag. “Topping out” is a construction tradition used to commemorate the installation of the final piece of steelwork on large construction projects.

CHA HPMC and Skanska team celebrates the event with a group photo.

The new five-story inpatient tower is part of a three-phase, $400 million upgrade. The new and expanded CHA HPMC will meet the community’s future healthcare needs with a thoughtful design, featuring a modern exterior and a friendly, bright interior. The new campus construction is expected to complete in 2021. For more information on the project, visit https://www.hollywoodpresbyterian.com/healthyfuture/.

CHA HPMC, a hospital that is a member of CHA Health Systems, a global network providing a full spectrum of dynamic healthcare services, is a nationally recognized acute care facility that has cared for Hollywood and its surrounding communities since 1924.
