MSR Gets Support from Local Moose

Members of the Glendale Moose Lodge #641 met with members of the Montrose Search and Rescue team on Wednesday night, Feb. 5, to deliver funds in support of the team’s work.

Along with other units of Moose International, the Loyal Order of Moose supports the operation of Mooseheart Child City and School, a 1,000-acre community for children and teens in need, located 40 miles west of Chicago, Illinois, and Moosehaven, a 70-acre retirement community for its members near Jacksonville, Florida. Additionally, Moose Lodges conduct approximately $50 million worth of community service (counting monetary donations and volunteer hours worked) annually.

Glendale Moose Lodge #641 is located at 4011 La Crescenta Ave. and general membership meetings are at 8 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. Complimentary refreshments are provided.

Office hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays  and Fridays (except holidays). For more information, phone (818) 957-7133.
