CV Tow Makes Its Parade Debut

Corey Nalley, manager of Crescenta Valley Tow, has been working the Tournament of Roses Parade for 14 years. Though CV Tow has been involved with the parade for over 20 years – all the tow truck drivers are assigned a corner in case they are needed – the 2014 event offered Nalley the opportunity to be the first CV Tow driver to tow a float. He had to be at the staging area by 2 a.m. on New Year’s Day for a safety briefing and driver meeting.

Nalley has taken his young son Nicholas to the parade route for the last three years. Nicholas enjoys seeing the heavy duty tow trucks (some of the CV Tow drivers will let the now 7-year-old sit behind the wheel).
