Over 50 volunteers came out to the Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge (CCLCF) on Saturday, Feb. 1 to make Valentine’s Day cards for residents of local nursing homes. Card makers included Thursday Club debutantes, La Cañada Elementary School Brownie Troop 7406, and a variety of community members. Over 1,600 cards were delivered to eight care facilities including Montrose Healthcare Center, Sparr Heights Senior Living and La Crescenta Healthcare Center. Cards were also delivered to the La Cañada Fire Station Camp #2.
