The Glendale Area Alumnae Panhellenic will hold its 65th annual scholarship luncheon on March 16 at the Oakmont Country Club in Glendale.

Founded in 1902, National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) is one of the oldest and largest women’s membership organizations representing more than 4 million women at 655 college/university campuses and 4,500 local alumnae chapters in the U.S. and Canada. Each year, NPC-affiliated collegians and alumnae donate more than $5 million to worthy causes, provide $2.8 million in scholarships to women, and volunteer 500,000 hours in their communities.

The Glendale Area Alumnae Panhellenic provides financial assistance to young women from the local area attending college, which covers Burbank, Glendale, La Cañada, La Crescenta, Montrose, Sunland and Tujunga.

All are invited to attend the luncheon; sorority membership is not required.      Reservations are required, and the price per person is $55 for adults and $ 35 for children 12 and younger. The reservation deadline is March 7. The luncheon starts at 11:00 a.m., with a social hour, followed by lunch starting at noon.

The invitation and reservation form is available on their website www.glendalepanhellenic.org. For more information, contact Deb Ann Orfalea, (818) 359-5427 or Rondi Werner (rondi@pacbell.net).
