Nisha Kae Chatterjee of La Cañada was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at Washington University in St. Louis. Chatterjee is a graduate of La Cañada High School and is enrolled in the university’s College of Arts & Sciences.

To qualify for the dean’s list in the College of Arts & Sciences, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or above and be enrolled in at least 14 graded units.

Mae A. Colcord, a resident of La Crescenta, has been named to first honors on the Clark University dean’s list. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the fall 2011 semester.

To be eligible for first honors, students must have a grade point average of 3.8 or higher, of a maximum of 4.3 (all A+s).

Brandon Barberio, a resident of La Cañada Flintridge, has earned placement on the Gonzaga University dean’s list for fall semester 2011. Students must earn a 3.5 to 3.69 grade-point average to be listed.

Luke Webster, a resident of La Crescenta, has earned placement on the Gonzaga University president’s list for fall semester 2011. Students must earn a 3.7 to 4.0 grade-point average to be listed.

Gonzaga University is a humanistic, private Catholic University providing a Jesuit education to more than 7,500 students.

Kathryn Barry of La Cañada graduated from the University of Delaware’s College of Health Sciences.

Barry was among the newest members of the University of Delaware’s Class of 2011 whose achievements were celebrated during winter commencement ceremonies held Sunday, Jan. 8 in Newark, Del.

Barry graduated in front of an audience of more than 4,000, which included more than 500 other new Blue Hens, as well as UD faculty, administrators and members of the UD Board of Trustees.
