Dignity Health Celebrates Heart Month

As part of Heart Month, Dignity Health Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center (GMHHC) hosted a celebration featuring free screenings, free lectures, heart-healthy food and the presentation of the Kings and Queens of Hearts – Cardiac Fitness Center participants who had worked hard to improve their heart health after being diagnosed with heart disease. Community members received multiple free screenings, witnessed the crowning of the Kings and Queens, and listened as doctors provided education and information to attendees.

Glendale Memorial Hospital oversaw Glendale Community College student nurses as they conducted the blood glucose and cholesterol testing on attendees.
