The La Crescenta Woman’s Club is presenting a free All-Irish Celtic Music Program in honor of St Patrick’s Day on Wednesday, March 12 at its La Crescenta Performance Stage. The program begins at 11:30 a.m., and will be followed by a catered lunch underwritten by the Woman’s Club for those who RSVP.

Dave Winstone, leader of the Kilgary Mountain Irish Band, puts on a lively and engaging musical show, earning a place as the Hollywood go-to entertainer in the Celtic genre. Performing for the studios, both live and for film and television productions, he has spun his musical blarney for Dreamworks, Universal, New Line Cinema, the “Batman” franchise, “Rocky V,” “Indiana Jones,” “Gilmore Girls,” “Lincoln Lawyer” and many others. Celebrities from Neil Diamond to Alex Trebek and Mayim Bialik have chosen him for their own events and he doesn’t disappoint. 

“I play for wakes, weddings and every fancy ball … put on the green and get ready for a toe tappin’ time of jigs, reels, waltzes and ballads from the old sod,” Winstone said.

All are invited for a lighthearted, upbeat program from one of the best! Lunch provided for those who RSVP.
