At a recent Crescenta-Cañada Rotary Club Allan and Lorry Herbert donated $10,000 to the Polio Plus. Rotary’s District Governor Doug Baker and District 5280 Polio Plus Chairwoman Julie Jenkins were on hand for the presentation. The Rotary Foundation, in partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is working toward the global eradication of polio. The Herberts were honored as Paul Harris Fellows in honor of the Rotary’s founder.
