This year Soroptimist International of Glendale will be honoring two courageous women who have overcome daunting challenges.
Today, Thursday, March 16, these women will be presented with Soroptimist “Live Your Dream Awards” to encourage and financially support them as they undertake career education to improve their ability to provide for their families. Women qualify for this award by being the head of household and enrolled in post-secondary education programs leading to improved employment. The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Oakmont Country Club.
Founded in California in 1921, Soroptimist International is the largest volunteer organization for professional women in the world.
