The following local students earned dean’s list honors for Emerson College’s fall 2022 semester. The requirement to make dean’s list is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

Isabel Moon of La Cañada is majoring in theatre and performance and is a member of the Class of 2023; Sam Kellman of Glendale is majoring in media arts production and is a member of the Class of 2025; Nicole Smith of Tujunga is majoring in theatre and performance and is a member of the Class of 2025; and Liquan Zheng of La Cañada Flintridge is majoring in media arts production and is a member of the Class of 2025.

Approximately 1,700 students were named to the dean’s list in fall 2022. Biola students are placed on the dean’s list to honor those with a GPA of 3.6 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more credits and whose cumulative GPA is at least 3.2.

The following local residents were named to the dean’s list: Emily Low of Sunland, majoring in comm sciences disorders; Alique Malakian of Tujunga, majoring in kinesiology; and Molly Mittelberg of La Cañada Flintridge, majoring in nursing

Natalie Berner from Glendale was recently named to the dean’s list at the College of William & Mary for the fall 2022 semester.

In order to achieve dean’s list status, a full-time degree seeking undergraduate student must take at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.6 Quality Point Average during the semester. 

William & Mary is the second oldest institution of higher learning in the United States.

Ethan Sharp of La Cañada Flintridge was among more than 1,750 students who received degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison during a commencement ceremony at the Kohl Center on Dec. 18, 2022. Sharp attended the College of Letters and Science and received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and mathematics.

Tufts University recently announced the dean’s list for the fall 2022 semester.

Local students who earned dean’s list honors are: Veronica Habashy, class of 2026, Rucha Kadam class of 2023, and Caroline Nowak, class of 2023, all from La Cañada Flintridge.

Dean’s list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

Tufts University, located on campuses in Boston, Medford/Somerville and Grafton, Massachusetts, and in Talloires, France, is recognized among the premier research universities in the United States.

Sean Metz from La Cañada Flintridge who attends Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University was among the more than 5,100 Baylor University students named to the fall 2022 dean’s academic honor list. The list recognizes Baylor undergraduates for their outstanding academic work during each semester.

Students honored on the dean’s list earned a minimum semester grade-point-average of 3.70 with no grade lower than a “C” while enrolled in at least 12 graded semester hours.

Baylor provides 127 baccalaureate programs in fields as varied as business, engineering, pre-medicine, computer science, nursing and music, along with 79 master’s programs, 50 doctoral programs (including the Juris Doctor), the Education Specialist program and Master of Laws program.
