On March 8, 26 Masters Taekwondo Club students, ages ranging from 6 to 11 years old, attended the 13th Annual Yong-In Taekwondo Championship that was held in Huntington Beach. The Montrose MTC students were tested on form and board breaking techniques. The students excelled in the competition with 17 receiving gold medals, 11 taking home silver and 23 receiving bronze.

On March 14, MTC hosted a board breaking fundraiser to raise money for the family of fallen officer Nicholas Lee. The donation to break a board was $5. Through the support of the students and the foothills community, MTC raised $1,000.

MTC expressed thanks for those who showed support for the Lee family and extended gratitude to Officer Lee for his service.
