The La Crescenta Woman’s Club recently held its Crazy Hat Night. Club member Marilyn Wright (top row, second from right) won money for her chosen philanthropy, She Is Hope LA. The mission of She Is Hope LA is to educate and empower single mothers starting over in the workplace and to provide affordable, transitional housing and childcare. On April 17 at 7 p.m. the Club’s Evening Section will present a $300 donation to the philanthropy and hear of its ambitious goals and accomplishments. All are welcome to attend. 

The LCWC monthly Evening Section meeting is held on the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the LCWC Clubhouse, 4004 La Crescenta Ave. in La Crescenta. Refreshments are served.  

On April 17 the Evening Section members will end the meeting with a fun game night of Left, Right, Center. For those who wish to play the cost is $5.
