La Cañada Orthopaedic Guild President Margot Seiss was honored at the 100-year celebration of volunteerism for the L.A. Orthopaedic Hospital. Seiss was recognized for the 2500 hours of volunteer service she has given through volunteering.

Seiss has served faithfully at the Thrift store as well as in the clinic both in L.A. and in Colexico, Mexico helping crippled children. The Guild members are currently working on their annual Authors Luncheon that is taking place on Oct. 25 at the Angeles National Country Club. Last year the Guild gave $15,000 to benefit children who are disabled, providing funding for new limbs or for surgeries.
