Laughter was the sound of the night at the La Crescenta Woman’s Club on Saturday night, April 29, when comedian Fritz Coleman took the stage for a Club fundraiser. About 160 tickets were sold for the nightclub-type event. Those in attendance were treated to opening act Stephanie Blum.

The women supplied gourmet appetizers and desserts with 150 mini Bundt cakes donated by Nothing Bundt Cakes.

The silent auction, which added to the evening’s fun, featured all types of much-sought-after items.

Besides providing funds for the Club’s philanthropic causes, a donation of $1,000 was made to Coleman’s charity, The Children’s Burn Foundation in Sherman Oaks associated with the Grossman Burn Center.
