The Junior League of Pasadena, Inc. honored Pasadena Mayor Bill Bogaard with the inaugural Junior League of Pasadena Community Impact Award and Jane Popovich with the 2015 Nancy Reed Payne Achievement Award at its second annual Simply Speaking benefit luncheon held at the University Club in April.
Over 150 people attended the luncheon that also featured keynote speaker Jane Olson, a notable humanitarian who has devoted her life to international justice and humanitarian work. The fundraiser included a silent auction and a donation drawing for six $1,000 gift certificates to Place Vendome in Old Pasadena. All funds raised from the event benefitted the Junior League of Pasadena and its community projects. To learn more about the Junior League of Pasadena, Inc., visit www.myjlp.com.
