Antioch University Los Angeles has named La Crescenta resident Bernadette Murphy core faculty in the MFA in Creative Writing Program. She will head the creative nonfiction genre.
As core faculty Murphy plans and oversees the residency, hires guest speakers and associate faculty, and mentors students while providing detailed critique on new and revised work. The MFA program was founded in 1997 as the nation’s first low-residency creative writing program on the West Coast.
