La Cañada Flintridge Orthopedic Guild members attended the Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital Annual Awards luncheon on Wednesday, April 21 that honored Caryl Pettit, Margot Siess and Ruth Nordquist-Wickel for their volunteer service. Their combined hours of several years totaled 4,750 hours.

The Guild raises money at its annual Book and Author Luncheon and Silent Auction fundraiser for children needing orthopedic services but cannot afford the care given by the skilled doctors at the Orthopedic Hospital both here in Los Angeles and in Calexico. The next Book and Author Luncheon is being held on Oct. 19 at the Angeles National Golf Club.
