A reception to welcome members of the Glendale Adventist Medical Center Cancer Care Guild was held on May 21. The Guild raises funds through various events to provide free support classes and services for cancer patients. Support classes include family counseling, fitness programs, jewelry making and a positive image center that offers cancer patients a healing environment during and after their diagnosis.
“This membership reception was a wonderful way to introduce the Glendale Adventist Medical Center Cancer Care Guild and the Cancer Center to new friends and supporters,” said Guild President Tina Parsegian. “Our Cancer Care Guild is dedicated to raising funds for this important community service.”
