Members of VFW Post 1614 and American Legion Post 288 surprised WWII veteran Anglo Chiarot on his 96th birthday on May 16.
Friends and relatives joined the vets at the La Crescenta
Healthcare Center on Montrose Avenue for a surprise
birthday party with a special Navy cake, coffee, cards and a few gifts.

Angelo is the oldest active American Legion member and was in good spirits and had a good time at the event.
