Chelsea Lorraine Johnson, daughter of Randy and Robin Johnson of La Crescenta, and Andrew Dale Kennedy, son of Ken and Nancy Kennedy of Brigham City, Utah will be married on Saturday, June 25. The wedding will take place in the morning in a small, private ceremony in the Los Angeles Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A reception celebrating their union will be held that evening at the LDS Church in La Cañada.
Chelsea and Andrew met in the fall of 2008 while attending the Jerusalem Study Abroad Program sponsored by Brigham Young University. Chelsea will be graduating with honors from BYU with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics this August and will continue there in a masters program in mathematics.
Andrew will graduate in December from BYU with a Bachelor of Science in exercise science and a minor in business, then will be attending dental school the following year.
