The Glendale Area Alumnae Panhellenic met recently to install officers for its 2013-14 year.  Outgoing President Harriett Rector, Glendale, Phi Mu, conducted the installation ceremony for the following officers: President Deb Ann Orfalea, Glendale, Zeta Tau Alpha; Vice President and Benefit Chair Janice Paul, La Cañada Flintridge, Delta Delta Delta; Secretary Georgine Archer, Burbank, Delta Gamma; Treasurer Kim Westhoff, Glendale, Alpha Omicron Pi.

Also recognized for 2013-14 responsibilities were Benefit Co-chair Elaine Chapman, La Cañada Flintridge, Kappa Kappa Gamma; Scholarship Social Chair Jacqueline Dwight, Burbank, Alpha Xi Delta; Scholarship Chair Jerri Johnson, Pasadena, Sigma Sigma Sigma; and Scholarship Committee members Cathy Daniel, South Pasadena, Pi Beta Phi, Julie Weller, Glendale, Delta Zeta, and Lynne Graves, La Cañada Flintridge, Alpha Delta Pi.

Rector will assume the responsibility of files/reference chair. Special recognition was also extended to Janis Rosebrook, Burbank Alpha Xi Delta, for continuing to be the website administrator.

The Glendale Area Alumnae Panhellenic was established in 1947, and the charter continues to be to provide financial assistance to young women from the area attending college. The organization holds an annual benefit to raise funds for scholarships.
