On June 28, The Clothing Market in Montrose opened its doors for a night of shopping to raise funds for women’s education. The P.E.O. Chapter VS of Glendale partnered with The Clothing Market to help the organization raise funds to educate women through scholarships, grants, awards and loans.
The boutique’s proprietors and hosts Maral and Sebu Chatoyan organized and planned an evening with raffle prizes, appetizers, and cheese and wine, which were enjoyed by the ladies as they chose from a wide selection of outfits and accessories.
The Clothing Market specializes in comfortable, colorful and affordable clothing that is designed by Maral and manufactured in the USA.
“It was especially gratifying to see that no one went home empty-handed,” said Kit Durkee, president of P.E.O Chapter. “It truly was a wonderful and rewarding evening that was enjoyed and appreciated by all.”
“Supporting community organizations is an integral part of our business culture,” added Sebu. “You have to ingrain yourself in the community and the community will support you 10 fold.”
The Clothing Market is located at 2260 Honolulu Ave. in Montrose.
