Long Drivers of America (LDA) announced that multiple world champion Pat Dempsey of Sunland is slated for induction into the prestigious LDA Hall of Fame.

Induction ceremonies are scheduled for Oct. 21 in Mesquite, Nev. during the finals of the 2012 RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship Powered By Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Dempsey, 55, added 2011
RE/MAX world championships in both the Super Seniors (50-plus) and Grand Champions (55-plus) divisions to the Senior (45+) Division title he captured in 2002.
