After serving both the St. James the Less and Holy Redeemer parishes, Fr. Ed Dover is moving on.
A celebration for him was held at Healy Hall on the campus of Holy Redeemer on July 1. Many of the parishioners came to wish him well and thank him for his years of service to the community. Most were eager to get a photo with the faith leader.
According to Catholic Leadership Institute, Fr. Dover was born and raised on the central coast of California and was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in 1985. He attended St. John Seminary College in Camarillo, earning his B.A. in philosophy and master’s in divinity. He has served as a supervising pastor for both seminary interns and newly ordained clergy. He has served on the Los Angeles Priest Council and represented the archdiocese at the Region Eleven Council of Priests. He is a certified spiritual director. He is a graduate of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ first cohort of Good Leaders, Good Shepherds, December 2011.
Fr. Michael Grieco will serve as priest minister.
