California Superior Court judge and former local Congressman James E. Rogan told an audience of local Republicans of the behind the scenes events of the Clinton impeachment hearings and Senate trial in the 1990s.

Rogan appeared at the summer social of the La Cañada Flintridge Republican Club held at the home of Mary and Leonard Kenney in La Cañada Flintridge on Saturday evening.

The former Congressman told stories from his recently published book about the impeachment hearings and trial, “Catching our Flag, the Behind the Scenes of a Presidential Impeachment.”

According to Rogan, the book is not a history of the Clinton White House scandals but instead is an overview of the Clinton White House years.
