The new officers for the Assistance League of Glendale were presented in May at the annual meeting at Oakmont Country Club.
Karen Millman is the 2014-15 president of the philanthropic group that helps school children in Glendale and the city’s senior citizens. Assistance League Glendale is known for helping provide school clothes for elementary school children, sponsoring a program for children’s authors and illustrators to visit the classroom, providing low cost SAT classes, donating scholarships to high school and city college students and subsidizing luncheons for senior citizens.
