On the evening of Friday, July 27, the Clothing Market in Montrose opened its doors for a night of shopping to raise funds for the renovation of the current war memorial at Two Strike Park in La Crescenta. American Legion Post 288 and VFW Post 1614 partnered with The Clothing Market to raise money to update the war memorial.

Owners Maral and Sebu Chatoyan hosted a memorable evening with raffle prizes, munchies, cheese, wine and beverages to welcome shoppers and their families to their local clothing boutique. As a tribute, a big screen TV showcased local veterans and showed pictures of the current condition of the war memorial at Two Strike Park.

“I wholeheartedly believe the business community should continuously partner with local non-profits to support causes that are dear and near to our neighborhoods,” said Sebu. “We heard details of this renovation at a local chamber mixer and decided to do our part.”

The Clothing Market is located at 2260 Honolulu Ave. in Montrose.
