The La Cañada Junior Women’s Club (LCJWC) is looking for new members with a passion for fun, philanthropy and fundraising.

Preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary on May 9, 2019, LCJWC has provided assistance to local women and children in need through fundraisers, volunteer hours, auctions and more. The Club is looking forward to an active year with its philanthropic efforts benefiting Mending Kids, which provides critical surgical care for sick children. Juniors host an annual fundraiser party to support this charity and organizes other events throughout the year, including preparing lunches every month to help people in need at Union Station in Pasadena.

The Club plans to host several events for prospective members beginning on Aug. 26 at 5:30 p.m. at Music in the Park. Additional meetings to be held Sept. 10 and Sept. 11.
