About 230 friends of American Legion Post 288 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1614 filled Healy Hall at Holy Redeemer on Friday night for the 6th Annual Community Bingo Night. In addition to supporting the veterans’ groups, there was no doubt that players came out for a chance to win at least $100 in prize money – the amount awarded for each winning game. The Legion and VFW are planning on supporting the Chamber, PromPlus and JROTC bingo fundraisers with the profits from Friday night’s event.

It was a fun night for all and, according to organizers Andy Gero, Mike Baldwin and Lynn McGinnis, a “very successful” event for the Legion and VFW.
