From Tuesday, Aug. 7 through Friday, Aug. 10, four Scouts and four adults from La Crescenta’s Troop 319 embarked on a backpacking trip to summit Mt. Whitney, the highest mountain in the contiguous United States at a height
of 14,505 feet.
