Veterans of American Legion Post 288 and VFW Post 1614 were recognized at the Friday night Crescenta Valley High School Falcon football game.

The vets noted that they enjoyed the “patriotic American rite of passage: Friday night football.” They also said that the marching band is another American tradition and the Falcon band is “one of the best.”

A bingo night is planned for April 4 supporting the CV Instrumental Music Foundation in providing brand new uniforms for the student musicians. More information will be available as the date draws near.
