Stephanie Chong and Kim Knapp took CV Weekly to Dunnottar Castle in Stonehaven, Scotland on Aug. 27. The rock the Castle sits on was forced to the surface 440 million years ago during the Silurian period. This dramatic and evocative ruined cliff top fortress was the home of the Earls Marischal, once one of the most powerful families in Scotland.
