Friends of the La Cañada Library welcome everyone to its semi-annual book sale. The three-day event will feature thousands of books from which to choose, old and new, to satisfy all ages – all at bargain prices! Anyone who loves to read, needs a gift for someone special, loves history, travel, cooking, the Arts, etc. can find it at this sale.

Revenue raised from the book sales and the annual Friends of the Library membership drive go toward filling the needs of the library: upgrading equipment, purchasing new books, compact discs and tapes, making improvements, and creating special programs for all ages.

Everyone is encouraged support the La Cañada Library by coming to the book sale and by renewing their annual Friends of the Library membership; membership fee is just $15 a year. Information will be at the membership desk in the lobby during the sale.

The sale begins on Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for Friends of the Library only (people with a coupon are included – the coupon can be found in the fall newsletter or check in the library for a guest coupon for the Special Members Only book sale day).

The public is invited on Thursday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (note the doors close at 3 p.m. sharp).
