CCLCF Hosts Fun for Folks Over 50 Luncheon & Raffle

Calling all folks over 50! The Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge is hosting its first ever Fun for Folks over 50 Luncheon and Raffle on Thursday, Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event will feature free lunch, instructor meet and greet, current program intros, ceramic studio tours, raffle drawing and the opportunity for the community to voice the types of programs and activities it would like to have available at the Community Center.

The Community Center staff is working together to put on this fun event for locals 50 and over to ensure they are getting as much fun out of the Community Center as they can.

“We want to hear from the community so we can better serve our community,” said Amanda Balcazar, program director of CCLCF. “We want to know how we can bring more fun into their lives.”

All folks 50 and over are welcome to the Community Center’s “Fun Lunch” at 4469 Chevy Chase Drive, La Cañada Flintridge. Raffle tickets and lunch are available on first come, first serve basis. Special performances by Barbara Dempsey of Aloha Allure, Dr. Yvonne Ramirez of Nuvé Therapeutics, ballroom dance instructor Gabriel Tsai, and Marc and Jan Rayman of the Foothill International Folk Dancers of La Cañada Flintridge.
