Enjoy “The Rat Pack” as Glendale Memorial Health Foundation hosts the 31st Annual Evening of Wine and Roses on Sunday, Oct. 14 at the Universal Hilton. There will be a reception, silent auction and gaming tables starting at 5 p.m. followed by dinner, program, live auction and Vegas-style entertainment starting at 6:30 p.m. This year’s event will honor former Glendale mayor and community board member Frank Quintero with the Humankindness Award.
The fundraising focus of this year’s Evening of Wine and Roses is the “Humankindness in the Making” (HITM) initiative. HITM will renovate the second floor of the hospital into a new service center for its Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine and Gastroenterology (GI) Lab. This remodeled space will transform the patient experience with new, state-of-the-art GI facilities, and an additional hyperbaric chamber.
