On Sept. 26, the Junior League of Pasadena, Inc. (JLP) held its 3rd Annual Sustainer Reunion at Everson Royce Wines in Old Town Pasadena. More than 30 sustainers, actives and friends of the JLP enjoyed an evening of gourmet cheese and wine tasting, while catching up with old friends and meeting new members of the league.
With its long-standing history, spanning more than 85 years as an organization, the sustainer reunions give members the opportunity to reconnect with fellow provisional class members and the opportunity to share their volunteer and leadership experiences with current provisionals.
“When you ask Junior League members why they joined the League, the most common answer is twofold – to make new friends, and make a difference in our community,” said sustaining member and reunion organizer Kerry Slater. “The sustainer reunion shows how deeply friendships have taken root for many of us in the JLP.”
