CCLCF Collecting Food, Money

As Thanksgiving draws near, the food drive at the Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge is officially open. In partnership with NASA Services, CCLCF is collecting canned and boxed food for the holiday season. Examples of items being received are soups, canned vegetables, pasta, water, cereal, baby formula, juice boxes, granola bars, rice, grocery store gift cards and other non-perishable foods. Please no glass.

NASA donation drop-bins are located at the Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge and select businesses throughout the area including: Gelson’s Market, Sprouts, Bob Smith Toyota, La Cañada Congregational Church, Crescenta Cañada Pet Hospital, Caltech Federal Credit Union, Allen Lund, Citizens Business Bank, Rose Gold Fitness and multiple schools around La Cañada Flintridge. Donations will be distributed to those in need this holiday season by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Dept. -Crescenta Valley Station.

For those who want to contribute but don’t have the time to drop off food products monetary contributions can be made online. Donations will bring much-needed groceries to families experiencing food insecurity in the area.
