Rene Sarkhosh, CPA opened his accounting firm in 2008 specializing in taxes. Since then, he has helped hundreds of business owners file their taxes and pre-plan to minimize their tax burden over their lifetime.
Rene graduated from USC with an accounting degree and is currently working on his M.S. in Taxation at Golden Gate University. His vast experience includes managing large local accounting firms as well as helping smaller firms with the intricacies of tax preparation and filing. His knowledge base and understanding of tax laws are widely recognized and he has conducted continuing education courses for other CPAs. NBC News has even drawn upon his skills and he was interviewed as an expert by the news team.
Rene also recognizes the importance of community. He volunteers his time and has often served as treasurer for nonprofits and as a consultant to many local charitable organizations. Along with his family, the community is very important to him.
Many of Rene’s clients are businesses with less than three owners or individuals owning real estate or utilizing a financial planner. He also works with individuals and families who rely on a CPA for tax advice. This is especially helpful when they are being audited or have foreign transactions, including working outside the country.
As confirmation of his standing in the community and his excellent business practices, Rene Sarkhosh has been voted Crescenta Valley Weekly’s Finest Accountant for three consecutive years – 2012, 2013 and 2014.
