Biola University welcomed incoming students Tae Young Kwon of La Crescenta, majoring in business management, Silas Lee of La Crescenta, majoring in business administration, Emin Matevosyan of Montrose, majoring in Bible, theology, & apologetics, Ian Rho of La Crescenta/Glendale, majoring in kinesiology and Prisca You of La Crescenta majoring in health sciences, to the Biola community this fall as they start their journey as an Eagle.
Biola’s incoming class represents an accomplished, diverse group of individuals who hail from 48 countries and 45 states. More than 1,650 undergraduate and graduate students started their journey at Biola.
These students are part of the largest incoming class since fall 2019.

Faith Choi of La Crescenta, majoring in allied health, Emily Low of Sunland, majoring in comm sciences disorders., Melissa Dunnigan of Sunland, majoring in English and Jakob Torres of La Cañada Flintridge, majoring in kinesiology, were among approximately 1,500 students named to the Biola University dean’s list in spring 2024. Biola students are placed on the dean’s list to honor those with a GPA of 3.6 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more credits and whose cumulative GPA is at least 3.2.
